The inspiration for this Detroit sculpture was acquiring of two long truck leaf springs. Their gentle arc and rounded ends when positioned back to back formed the foundation of this piece. From that point forward it was just a matter of selecting the right additional automotive parts to fill in the blank spaces. I find the spindle Florette pleasing to gaze at as your eye travels over the sculpture.
